👋 Welcome to Mall Maul, our very first 3D prototype! Right now you’ll find:

  • 🚶‍♂️ A basic first-person controller: walk, look around, rinse, repeat

  • 🛍️ A handful of NPC shoppers spawning and standing still (pathfinding is half-baked—AI isn’t steering them yet!)

  • 🤪 A goofy ragdoll “R” key that turns you into a floppy physics capsule

That’s… pretty much it. 😅 This is an incredibly early, spare-time project—there’s a lot missing and some systems aren’t hooked up yet (hello, navmesh woes!). 

What’s next?

  • 🔧 Nail down NPC pathfinding so shoppers actually wander

  • ⚙️ Polish player movement: acceleration, turning, camera feel

  • 🚀 Add core PvP: 7 Shoppers vs. 4 Mall Cops, raise/defuse the riot meter, timed extraction

  • 🎉 Dynamic hazards & power-ups, multi-floor chases, prank-and-score shenanigans
